I have recently returned to painting - acrylic on canvas - after working with collage and mixed media for a while. I find it impossible to live surrounded by the natural environment without being affected by it. I am not concerned with describing the landscape as such but my work alludes to it. Experiences, memories and feelings somehow come through. The paint itself and accidental marks also play their part.
